One of the best ways to sing with our spirit and understanding and make melody in our hearts is to try and understand what the hymn writer is trying to share with us through their words.

Each has their story, and each has their personal spiritual journey, some are tragic, whilst others have reason to rejoice. All too often we sing the words to a hymn but don’t understand them.
